This Is Usreturns this September with a cast that is bigger than ever. NBC has released a season 4 trailer to show some of the new faces coming to the emotional series and they includeWhen They See Usstars Asante Blackk and Marsha Stephanie Blake, Omar Epps, Bahara Golestani, Jennifer Morrison, Timothy Omundson, Julian Silva, Auden Thornton and Nick Wechsler.
Evendirector M. Night Shyamalanwill be making his first acting appearance in a project he did not produce or direct. As we get a quick look at the newcomers in the trailer, Mandy Moore’s Rebecca Pearson guides us with a speech.

This isn’t the first television appearance for most of the newThis is Uscast members. Wechsler has a slew of small-screen work under his belt ranging from NBC’sChicago PDto the CW’sDynastyreboot. Omar Epps starred in Fox’s popular seriesHouseand can most recently be seen on USA’sShooter. Golestani played a role on TNT’sAnimal Kingdomwhile Silva currently stars in USA’sQueen of the South. Morrison is most known for her roles in bothHouseand ABC’s long-running fairytale seriesOnce Upon a Time.
Timothy Omundsonportrayed the beloved Carlton Lassiter inPsych. After Omundson suffered a stroke, he was only able to make a small appearance in thePsychTV movie, but is expected to reprise his role inPsych 2. This will only be Blackk’s second television appearance but fellowWhen They See Us’sstar Blake has also landed a role in the final season ofHow to Get away with Murder.
This is Ustells thestory of the Pearsons, a loving family plagued with a tragedy. The nonlinear story structure allows the creators, headed by Dan Fogelman (The Neighbors), to explore the many consequences of the character’s choices and the lessons they learn throughout their complicated lives. The latest season altered the formula slightly to include flashes of the Pearson family in the future as well as the past and present. It’s likely that some of our new cast members may be featured in this new part of the timeline, but no other details have been revealed.
The extended Pearson family is full of on-screen talent including: Milo Ventimiglia, Moore, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Chris Sullivan, Susan Kelechi Watson, Jon Huertas, Hannah Zeile, Niles Fitch, Logan Shroyer, Mackenzie Hancsicsak, Parker Bates, Faithe Herman, Eris Baker, Ron Cephas Jones and Lyric Ross. Season 3’s newcomers Griffin Dunne, Tim Jo, Elizabeth Perkins, Phylicia Rashad and Caitlin Thompson are set to return in Season 4, as well.
