As the royal family’s weapons master and one of the few to know the secret of He-Man’s identity, Man-at-Arms acts as a mentor and confidente to Eternia’s hero. For Elba, this will be one of many fantasy and big IP roles that he has added to his resume over the last couple of decades.

Travis Knight, best known for directingBumblebee, is directing the movie, and the one thing that is currently missing is the casting of one of the most iconic villains of the 1980s, and perhaps of all time: Skeletor. The bony adversary of He-Man, who in recent years has become ingrained in internet culture for several memes, is a role that was mostrecently voiced by Mark Hamill in Kevin Smith’s animatedMasters of the Universe: Revolutionon Netflix.
