Last month, duringSaturday Night Live’s final episode of 2015, it was revealed thatStar Wars: The Force AwakensstarAdam Driverwill host the first episode of 2016, on January 16. Today the network announced the host of this year’s second newSaturday Night Liveepisode, UFC fighterRonda Rousey. She will be joined by musical guestSelena Gomezon January 23, whileAdam Driverwill be joined by Grammy nomineeChris Stapletonas the musical guest.

This will beRonda Rousey’s first time hostingSaturday Night Live, and it will also mark her first major TV appearance since losing her UFC women’s title to Holly Holm back in November. The UFC has already announced that a rematch is in the works, but it isn’t known when that will happen yet. UFC President Dana White had originally planned for the rematch to happen at UFC 200, on July 9 in Las Vegas, but the deals aren’t finalized yet, and it’s possible that Holly Holm could fight another top contender, such as Miesha Tate, before her rematch withRonda Rousey.

WhileRonda Rouseyhas certainly been keeping busy in the ring, with three fights last year, she has also been expanding her repertoire on the acting side as well. After making her acting debut in 2009’s American Judoka, she has since appeared in several high-profile projects, includingThe Expendables 3,Furious 7andEntourage. She has also been set to star in abiopicabout her own life, entitledMy Fight/Your Fight, and she has also been tapped to star in a remake ofRoad House.

Ronda Rousey’s musical guest,Selena Gomez, will also be making herSNLdebut as well. Her latest album, “Revival,” has featured hits “Good for You” and “Same Old Love.” On the acting side, she will next be seen co-starring withJames FrancoandBryan Cranstonin In Dubious Battle, and alongsideSeth Rogen,Zac EfronandChloe MoretzinNeighbors 2: Sorority Rising.

It remains to be seen whether or notRonda RouseyorAdam Driverwill bring any special guests along with them during their hosting stint. It’s possible that plans forRonda Rousey’s rematch with Holly Holm could be officially announced by then, but it remains to be seen if the show’s cast and writers will be poking fun at her first loss ever in the octagon, to Holly Holm. It wouldn’t be surprising, though to see the show spoofAdam Driver’sStar Wars: The Force Awakenscharacter,Kylo Ren.
