With just three more episodes left in the first half ofThe Walking Dead Season 6,AMChas released a new clip from next week’s episode,Always Accountable, airing Sunday, November 15 at 9 PM ET on AMC. This clip features Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) on his own, pushing his motorcycle through the woods, after his bike apparently ran out of gas. He tries to contact Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) on his walkie-talkie, but no one responds, asDarylnotices the charred skeleton of a walker below him.
Warning:SPOILERahead! Last night’s episode,Now, saw Rick (Andrew Lincoln) finally returning toAlexandria, just ahead of the zombie herd that is closing in on the peaceful town. In this clip from next week’s episode, it isn’t exactly clear how far from Alexandria Daryl is, or if he will make it back before thezombieherd closes in. After theshocking deathof Glenn (Steven Yeun) just a few weeks ago, his girlfriend Maggie (Lauren Cohan) dropped a surprise of her own inNow, that she is pregnant.

The show has often deviated from the original comics written byRobert Kirkmanin the past, and at times they have been quite faithful. Glenn’s death turns out to be yet another deviation, since, in the comics, he is killed by the nefariousNegan, a character who has not officially been cast in the series yet, although it has been rumored that he may be showing up soon. In the comics, Glenn’s death comes just after he learns that Maggie is pregnant, and it was hinted that he knew in the season premiere, but they were both keeping the pregnancy a secret from the rest of the group.
During theTalking Deadafter show following the episode Glenn died, showrunner Scott M. Gimple said in a statement that fans will see “some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback, or current story, to help complete the story.” It’s possible that this closure could come during the midseason finale, which is slated to air on Sunday, November 29, but we don’t have any confirmation quite yet. It’s also worth noting thatSteven Yeun’s name was removed from the show’s opening credits over the past two weeks, so it seems more and more likely that Glenn is in fact dead and gone.

In addition to this new clip, we also have photos from last night’s episode,Nowand next week’sAlways Accountable, which you can check out under this clip. What do you think about this new scene? Will Daryl become the latest in Rick’s group to turn into the undead? Let us know what you think, and stay tuned for more onThe Walking Deadas we wait for next week’s highly-anticipated episode.
