If we’re on a Christmas role and need our fix, YouTube has got some gems on offer for the occasion for the low price of $free.99! The 1979 TV movieThe Man in the Santa Claus Suitstarring Fred Astaire, Gary Burghoff (MASH) and Bert Convy (Cannonball Run) delivers the nostalgia and the warm and fuzzies. The mysterious owner of a costume shop rents a Santa Claus suit to three very different men: a math teacher trying to get the nerve to propose, a homeless restaurateur trying to hide from the mob, and a harried political speech writer visiting with his estranged wife and son. Their lives are inexorably changed by their experience of playing Santa Claus.

Christmas Trade, starringTom Arnold, William Baldwin and Denise Richards, shows just days before Christmas, an LA real-estate lawyer and his eleven-year-old son magically swap bodies. As they walk in each other’s shoes, the father and son rediscover what it means to be family.

Golden Winter, starring Hailey Duff and Jim Turner, sees a boy befriend a litter of homeless Golden Retrievers. Together, they help stop a bank robbery just in time for Christmas. That should keep you in the tingly Christmas spirit for a while. Please give a shout if there’s some real must-sees I’ve missed!
