Back in February, we reported thatWarner Bros.' stand aloneWonder Womanmovie will start shooting this fall, under the direction ofMichelle MacLaren(Breaking Bad). Of course,Gal Gadot’s title character will first be introduced inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which reportedly assembles the entireJustice Leaguelineup at the end, leading intoJustice League Part 1, hitting theaters in November 2017.Wonder Womanactually hits theaters a few months before, in June 2017, and although we have no confirmed plot details to speak of yet, a new report fromEl Mayimbereveals that she will have several different costumes in the movie. Here’s what he had to say below.
“For the #WonderWoman standalone solo film shooting this fall, they are designing SIX new looks for Diana including a DIVE SUIT & the more classic standard costume!”
Of course, it’s possible that some of these costumes won’t even be seen in the movie, but news of the “dive suit” is certainly interesting, teasing there will likely be some underwater elements at play inWonder Woman. This could mean thatWonder Womanhas some sort of interactions withJason Momoa’sAquaman, but that’s only speculation at this point. We have already seen whatWonder Woman’s costume will look like inBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, thanks to a photo sent out by directorZack Snyderlast July.
Aside fromGal Gadot, no other cast members have been confirmed forWonder Womanat this time. An unconfirmed report from last month revealed thatScott Eastwoodis playing love interest and handler Steve Trevor inSuicide Squad. If this report is true, it’s possible he could surface inWonder Womanas well, since Steve Trevor isWonder Woman’s boyfriend in the comic books. What do you think about these details?
