Warner Bros.‘Batman v Supermanhelped set the stage for the highly-anticipatedJustice League. And it also helped set up several standalone adventures coming to theaters over the next 5 years. Fans got their first look atGal Gadot’sWonder WomaninDawn of Justice, where we learned that she is over 100 years old. We’ll get to learn a lot more about Diana Prince next summer whenWonder Womanhits theaters on July 08, 2025. Today, we have newset photosas principal photography starts to wind down in Italy.
While we don’t know exactly how much is left to shoot onWonder Woman, the studio also recently started production onJustice League: Part 1, whichGal Gadotwill surely be needed for. The last leg of theWonder Womanshoot takes place in Italy, where the production is filming scenes set in the title character’s homeland ofThemyscira. Over the weekend, an Italian touring company dubbed Informazioni Turistiche shared new photos from this set, showcasingConnie Nielsenin her fullHippolytacostume, riding horseback.

Just a few days ago,Connie Nielsenteased more interesting news, posting a photo of what could beWonder Woman’stiger sidekick. Unfortunately,Connie Nielsendidn’t offer any details about her tiger co-star on her Instagram page. But last April, a report surfaced that formerWonder WomandirectorMichelle MacLarencouldn’t agree with Warner Bros. on several story points, one of which was that she wanted the title character to have a tiger as a best friend. This rumor surfaced just one day afterMichelle MacLarenleft the project due to creative differences, withPatty Jenkins(Monster) coming aboard to replace her just a few days after that.
The original report about the tiger sidekick and the rest of the studio’s creative differences withMichelle MacLarenwas never confirmed, but most assumed that, if it were true, we surely wouldn’t be seeing a tiger inPatty Jenkins’ version ofWonder Woman. Still, we don’t know for sure if the tiger shown inConnie Nielsen’s photo is in factDiana Prince’s sidekick, or how this powerful animal fits into the story.

Production started onWonder Womanback in November. Warner Bros. recently moved this exciting solo adventure up by a few weeks, from June 30, 2025 to August 18, 2025.
