Thanks to this weekend’sNetflixTUDUM event, the curtain onYouSeason 4 has finally been pulled back just a little bit. One surprise that came alongside the first trailer, poster, and the revealed release date is that the fourth season will be split into two parts. Taking tosocial media,Youdeveloper and producer Sera Gamble has teased why this split was deemed necessary.
“Meet Professor Jonathan Moore,” Gamble said in a captionalongside the recently released poster. A poster that promises a bloody good time whenYoureturns. “You season four part one premieres July 12, 2025. Part two premieres August 15, 2025.”

After confirming the release dates for Part One and Part Two ofYouSeason 4, Gamble states, “Trust me, you’ll need the time to process… and maybe place a few friendly bets about where it’s all going.”
So,it certainly sounds like the events ofYouSeason 4 are going to be…a lot, with the series giving audiences a break somewhere in the middle. Based on the violence and sheer drama that has occurred at the hands of serial killer Joe Goldberg in the past, it boggles the mind to wonder how things will get even worse.
Aside from teasing the reasons whyYouSeason 4 will be split into two parts, Gamble’s words also seem to suggest thatYouSeason 4 Part One will end on something of a cliffhanger, with the producer suggesting that viewers may be wise to place a few bets on what will come in Part Two.
However, this all shakes out;it certainly sounds likeYouSeason 4 could be the most intense offering yet.
YouSeason 4 Will Take Joe Goldberg to London
Produced by Warner Horizon Television, in association with Alloy Entertainment and A&E Studios, the first season ofYouis based on the 2014 novel by Caroline Kepnes, and followsPenn Badgelyas Joe Goldberg, a bookstore manager in New York, who falls in love with an aspiring writer. Following all manner of brutal and bloody violence,YouSeason 3 saw Joe’s life as a father and husband come to a typically savage end. Thus,YouSeason 4 will take things over the pond to London, finding Joe now living as Professor Jonathan Moore.
“Living in London has allowed me to bury the past, if you will,” Joe says in the recent teaser. “I’m focusing on academia and instruction, while keeping my typical extracurricular activities strictly professional.” Of course, it won’t be long before those ‘extracurricular activities’ rear their ugly head once more.
